Telkomsel Flash Ultima Registration and APN setting

Telkomsel Flash Ultima is volume based internet package that Telkomsel offer to their customer. And recently I found that they've change some of their internet package, especially for the package that most people (including me) use. 

Usually this package only offer us total of 2 GB with separated into:

 1 GB on 3G Network and 1 GB Data Flash, 

but now it changed into: 

3 GB in total with split into: 1.5 GB Data 3G, 500 MB Data Flash and 1 GB For Midnight Flash data usage between 00.00-08.59 .

Also I found out that their registration method has been improved, we can now buying with one time purchased method or auto renewal system (auto subscribe). For example we want to buy the new updated 3GB package on Telkomsel Flash Ultima. We simply pressed *363# in our cellphone and call to access the main menu, choose 2. Telkomsel Flash, then pick 1. Flash Volume , pick monthly 3. Flash Bulanan, then pick 2. Rp.60rb (3GB). After this we 2 option 1.Ya - for one time purchased method or 2. Berlangganan - for auto renewal system. Those method above can be shortcut into  *363*2*1*3*2# read the confirmation then simply choose 1 or 2.

For APN that we use, it should be either "telkomsel" or "internet" and leave the username and password remain blank. Then for checking remain volume we have, we can simply check it by *889# or accessing http://mobi.telkomsel.com/profil/profileinternet .

Attention:

This is a (you can said it as) bug/glitch/protection system or whatever it is that I've found while using telkomsel.

• You can't use your telkomsel flash internet package when your prepaid credit (for example simpati) is Rp. 0,- even you still have active volume of the package on it. So if you having trouble connect to the internet while still having active internet package from telkomsel flash, you can check your prepaid credit by calling *888# or accessing http://mobi.telkomsel.com/profil/profilepulsa.
• Watch your data coverage, the main package is Data Flash that can cover both 2G and 3G network. Your prepaid credit can be drained out if you stay at 2G network while your Data Flash is empty even if you still have other
