Today I was renewing my Telkomsel Flash internet package data, actually I'm curious about their new promo / hot offer on Telkomsel Flash Ultima Rp.60.000,- 3 Gb. I try to register by simply calling *363# pick option 2, then I found out their notifaction about this promo is already right there on the above option menu. (For shortcut buying this internet package data you can simply access *363*2*1*3*2# then pick option 1. for buying or 2. for subscribe/auto renewal). After the registration complete I check my current packet data by accessing http://mobi.telkomsel.com/profil/profileinternet and this is the summary:

| Midnight Fun | 1024 MB |
The total 3GB is consisted from on those table above, so basically they change the former 2GB (1024MB each on Data 3G and Data Flash) split and adding 1 GB for Midnight Promo. Personally I think Telkomsel making a good step by doing this right before the Ramadan. We know that in Ramadan especially with mostly Indonesian people consists of Moslem, people tend to waking up early on the dawn for fasting. By doing this they fulfill the people demand of internet and making people feeling not getting lose their quota / volume while accessing internet at the dawn. Indeed this is a good anticipation from Telkomsel to approaching market right before the Ramadan.

So do they automatically take from midnite fun quota during those times? Or is it like flash where only after other 3G run out?! Because then could end up with 1gig of data you could only use your phone after midnite till it was done and before you recharge. Hopefully it takes automatically from midnite fun first during those hours, but it doesn't say clearly..
On my experience using it,
Yeah it'll automatically using the midnight fun quota during those time...
but to take precaution step.. you should reconnect during those time while you use the data flash / 3G around those time..
for example:
you've used the data flash from 23.30 until 00.35 then you should have manually RECONNECT it around those time to switch it as midnight fun.
P.S. Remember that the current Data FLASH reduce by half during this promo (from 1GB to 512 MB) and data FLASH is the MAIN QUOTA that can freely switching out from 2G or 3G during normal time (outside midnight fun promo).
