Fried rice is another common local dish that available in most of city at Indonesia, this dish similarly with other regular fried rice in many countries. The only made Indonesia fried rice really different maybe just the spice and some other seasoning. Generally most of Indonesian people use soy sauce as the base seasoning with other local spice, just like garlic. For additional food-touch usually they used fried egg, sliced meat or some vegetable like “Petai” (or usually called “Pete” by local Javanese (its really-really delicious!)). And for the finishing touch they usually adding some sliced cucumber, tomato and local “creep-crisp things” called “Kerupuk”.
