XL Axiata one of most known GSM provider on Indonesia, recently this provider was popular for it's cheap data service on internet package data, with the large quotas. On the January 2014 during this post was published, the detail of their "Super Ngebut" internet data quotas as listed as below:

This quota was bundled with price Rp. 25.000 ,- which reasonably cheaper rather than the other GSM provider on Indonesia. And the other good side of XL internet service is their internet data that totally separated from their phone account (sim card). This does mean that whenever you didn't have any credit left on your phone account, i.e. your credit balance is zero rupiah you can still using it. Or vice-versa, whenever your internet quotas was empty, they will not dare to lay a finger to charge it on you phone account.
To register into this internet package data service you can just dialing right into your XL phone by *123# and choose 2 for internet service menu and pick the Super Ngebut option. But to be remembered, this package data service only can be used on 3G area and above. It totally won't work on 3G below, this means that you can't even use internet in the 2G and your internet package will totally locked your connection in 3G and above. Simply said, you can't use your internet data on 2G area anymore, whenever this internet package data is active. So before decide to switch to this service, making sure you got stable 3G or above internet coverage area. Stable that I means is, it's doesn't switch from 2G/2.5G/Edge to 3G/HSDPA regularly. So basically if your coverage area regularly switching from 3G to HSDPA and vice-versa it's totally fine, except that your modem having internal problem with this kind of switching line.
