League of Legends

One of the games that can be called as Successor of DotA (Defend of the Ancient), this game has been released from its Open Beta few weeks ago, so from now you’ll only given some temporary heroes on each week while playing. Okay enough for chit-chat let’s go to the point, so basically what is the difference between them?

Account Development
First thing first, in these games you’ll not only gain experience for your heroes (champion) while playing. But also you’ll gain experience for your account it’s self (called by summoner level) after winning or losing the game.
What is the use for it?
Many things! For setting masteries and unlocked runes slot for your own heroes ability development, setting up account’s (summoner) skill that you will use on battle, storing your record of some last battle on your account, etc.

Match Making System
This is still part of the account system, which determined your opponent level that you’ll battle on the next game based on your record. So basically while you’re a newbie in this game you’ll not worry about batting with a godlike player due this game system. You’re safe while choosing solo normal game, but personally while in open beta version I played this game this match making still not operated wisely sometimes (not to try being so rude, but me and 4 stranger “who don’t know who” win the game with less than 24 minute, and there are so much tension that we give to our opponent) but I guess it’s rarely happened now (or because I rarely play solo?).
