Harvest Moon Back To Nature Festivals

Prologue

On my personal opinion, the most interactive series of harvest moon is the oldest one series (back to nature). In this old series we can participate in many events that held on the village, it’s really different with the latest series harvest moon (i.e. wonderful life) that only have a few of festival event. Sometimes it’s even make me thing, “Why old playstation games stories and gameplay still better than the new one”.

Spring Festivals
Spring 1st, New Years Festival.

This festival held on 2 places, but still you can only choose one of them. You can take a part by either drinking at Inn or gathered in the village square with other villager.

Spring 8th, Spring Goddess Festival.

Festival held on the village square, all the girls that you can choose to be your wife will be participated in this event.

Spring 14th, Thanksgiving Festival.

In this event you can give a chocolate to any girl that you like, but remember you can only made a chocolate if there are cooking utensil, ingredient and recipe. Simply said you can’t give chocolate to any girls in first years.

Spring 16th, Horse Race.

Held on Village Square, you can’t take a part in this event. But still you can make a bet to collecting medals and get power berry in this event.

Spring 22nd, Cooking Festival.

This event held on Village Square, you could participate in this event by brought your ultimate home made dish. There will be gourmet (once a year NPC) that coming to this event to tasted villager dish, so make sure you make a memorable things out there…

Summer Festivals
Summer 1st, Sea Opening.

Event that held on the beach, that usually also called by swimming festival. This is an important event get another power berry. Make sure you can win in this event to get it, but I guess you can’t win at the first try… So make sure come at next years okay?

Summer 7th, Chicken festival.

Chicken Rumble Arena!! You can participate in this event by brought your hen to the village square. If you can win in this event, your hen will lays a golden egg.

Summer 12th, Tomato festival.

3 on 3 tomato battle, held on the village square. Although there will be no prize for winning this event but keep try winning it. But its only if you can, eh?

Summer 20th, Cow festival.

You can’t participate in this festival but instead of yourself, your cow still able participated in this event *LoL. Make sure your cow heart reach its maximum value, then registered it at this event. This event will take a place in the yodel ranch and if your cow wins this event, it will produce golden milk.

Summer 24th, Firework display.

These even take a place in the Mineral Beach at the night, you can ask any girls you like to come and see this firework together.

Fall Festivals
Fall 3rd, Music festival.

Held on the church at night, you can drop by to listening music here. So far that I know, Ann also participated in this event. For anyone who targeting Ann, make sure you don’t miss her performance.

Fall 9th, Harvest festival.

Held on Village Square, many of villager will participated in this event. On this festival you can participate with throwing any ingredient to the huge pot at the middle of square, what you put on this pot will result on its taste. The question is, what are you trying to put in this pot? Vegetable, dish or even a poisonous herb, it’s up to you!

Fall 13th, Moon viewing day.

This event will take a place in the Mother’s Hill Summit, at the night. A girl character that you caring so much will waiting you on there, so don’t disappointed her okay!

Fall 24th, Sheep festival.

Same as a cow festival, but this time is your sheep turn. Held on the Yodel ranch, at noon.
Fall 25th, Horse Race festival.

Held at the village square, if your horse has already a saddle you can take it to participated on this race. Good luck on the race, eh?

Winter Festivals
Winter 10th, Dog race.

Held on Village Square. After your chicken, cow, sheep and horse now this is your dog turn to take some action. Your relationship with your dog will be proved on this race, if you caring so much with your dog and diligently training it with dog ball your dog will run as fast as your self.

Winter 14th, Winter Thanksgiving festival.

All girl that have non black heart marks will gift chocolate to you, so just keep staying at your farm on this day. Each of them will deliver a chocolate at your farm from 6 am till 3 pm.

Winter 24th, Star Night festival.

Held on some villager house, personally I rarely come to this festival. On this event you can go to the some girls house to participate this event with their whole family (maybe some of them will invite you at the noon).

Winter 30th, New Years.

If you had enough of luck you can find snow flower at the mother’s hill summit at this night.

Additional Note:

• You can’t take a pregnant cow/sheep, sheared sheep to participate on festival.
• Time will be stopped when you’re on the event / festival.
• Usually event started at 10 am and 6 pm, but a little or much late won’t be a problem (i.e. you can still participated in 10 am event while you come at 2.45 pm).
